Rev. Glenn Chapman D.Min

Dr. Glenn Chapman joined the Samaritan Counseling Center as a pastoral counselor in 1981. Glenn received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Divinity degrees from Abilene (Texas) Christian University, and additional training at the Washington (D.C.) Pastoral Counseling Service. He completed a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Psychotherapy at Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan in January 1988. Dr. Chapman also completed a Consultation Training Workshop presented by the Alban Institute in 2002.
In his years at the Samaritan Center, Glenn has regularly done individual, marriage, and family counseling. In addition, he has conducted groups for abusive parents, for persons adjusting to separation and divorce, and for bereaved parents. He speaks frequently in area churches, and has conducted workshops and other special programming for congregations, schools and community organizations.
Glenn's professional credentials include ordination in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He also holds membership in The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Glenn is licensed as a Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Counselor, and Certified Social Worker in the state of Michigan.
