Shelly Perry MSW, LCSW

Shelly received her Master's in Social Work from the State University of New York - Albany campus in 1983 after completing a Bachelor's of Social Work from La Sierra College, La Sierra California in 1982.
She has done extensive work in Crisis Intervention as an Intensive Care and Emergency room social worker for Loma Linda University Medical Center. She currently is a faculty member for Andrews University Department of Social Work where she teaches classes in therapy, crisis intervention & assists the social work students with their internships.
She is licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, a Certified Social Worker (CSW) in Michigan and has a Diplomat in social work. She conducts presentations on child abuse prevention and family wellness and has published in the areas of refugee women and family wellness.
Shelly's practice specialties are in treating depression and anxiety, crisis intervention, couples therapy, domestic violence, child abuse and grief counseling. She thoroughly enjoys partnering with clients that are motivated to change. She has been seeing clients at the Samaritan Counseling Center since 2003.
